Oh great, and I thought I was afraid of the dinosaurs attacking our house while a tornado was bearing down on us during an earthquake when I was a wee-lad...now this!!! Thanks Andy! :mrgreen:

That's what I was thinking, too. Just get a law passed against asteroid strikes. No asteroids allowed within 1000 miles of Earth, all asteroids must be registered, and a complete ban on all assault asteroids. That'll fix the problem. :mrgreen:

Speaking of which, I wonder how our knowledge of the universe and orbital physics would be different if we'd come along 4 billion years in the future, and had a night sky like this?
