Wilmington, Delaware.

Delaware for back East has fairly good gun laws, its a may issue state, but it sounded like they a very liberal with issuing.

The women were 32 and 34. Apparently the park is quite popular and in a nice neighborhood.

Happened between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. Certainly not dark at that time.

Rabid Animals, and every single one of them need to be exterminated. The City Councilwoman asks 'What do you need from Society to make better choices". How about a 45ACP round right between the eyes.

Society has clearly given way too much to these uncivilized creatures.

It would be nice to see the police issue advice that all licensed concealed carry holders should bring their weapons when visiting the park until the attackers are either arrested or meet their demise during another vicious crime.

Hand wringing doesn't stop sociopaths.

Bullets do.

Justice for Trayvon, no doubt.

I'm assuming that Delaware is a CHL-unfriendly state, but hopefully this incident will convince more to join our ranks.

It also serves a reminder as to why we need 10+ round magazines.
CHL since 2/2011
Glock 26, S&W 442, Ruger SP101 .357 3",
S&W M&P 40, Remington 870 Express 12 ga 18"

CHL's should carry whenever legal and practical, making this a moot point.

Delaware is may issue. However, Wikipedia said it operated more like a shall issue state. Maybe this will spur the liberals there to take advantage of their rights and legal conceal carry. I suspect with so many anti gun states around them its not in their nature to even think about it.

It certainly would seem that Delaware is surrounded by anti-gun sentiment. Like a lot of other situations, it is more complex than that.

1. NJ is a lot like IL. The Liberal philosophy including the anti-2nd amendment garbage is not shared below Trenton as much as is above Trenton. Like Colorado, there has been a lot of talk over the years of Southern NJ breaking away from the Northern part and allowing the Liberals to wallow in the mess that they have created. Unfortunately Camden, and to some extent Atlantic City resemble the Northern part, too.

2. Maryland is also varied. If you visit the Eastern shore, you would find a lot of rednecks. That was part of our service territory when I worked out of Wilmington and we had to be careful which of our service personnel we sent down there. The Western part of MD is also far less Liberal than the part near D.C. Some friends have mine who lived in MD felt that their State government had been coopted by the power from Washington.

3. PA outside of Philly is pretty strong 2A territory. PA shares a lot of border area around Allenton with NJ and I used to cover that as part of my driving territory. I never found the same anti-gun sentiment around Allentown and Bethlehem that you start running into as soon as you cross the river. There are hunters and sportsman in the Western part of Northern NJ, too, but the people tend to be very Liberal in just about all of the social topics.

Wilmington had a significant crime problem a long while ago and I doubt that it has gotten any better. Neighboring Newark is even worse. I had to move about both cities at night and I was very nervous about that. There is no doubt about the heavy Liberal influence in the African-American parts of Wilmington. You would have a hard time telling them from West Philly. Legal gun friendly they are not but, like Chicago, there never seems to be a short supply of illegal ones.

This was a sexual assault of two women in a park on different occasions, by the same assailant. Here the rapist used a taser to subdue the women. Happened in Queens. Not sure if tasers are legal in New York City, but I will find out. How bout that, stunning devices are illegal to possess in New York City. Its really amazing how criminals just won't follow the law when they are committing their crimes.

Article gives a very good description of the clothing the assailant was wearing.

I can tell you that I grew up as a child in Delaware. I even lived in Wilmington for a couple years in the early 1970's. unless things have changed there is nothing good that happens in Wilmington. I had some older kids burn me behind my ear and steal my lunch money. I was about seven years old and I would guess they were sixteen or so. This is the type of stuff that happened while trying to walk to school. I could go on for hours with stories about Wilmington. Not sure about now but you used to have to be a home owner to buy a gun let alone get a permit for a chl.

It would be nice if CHL's carried whenever legal, but the fact is that many don't - even in Texas.

That makes the suggestion to do so not moot.

Under the circumstances in Wilmington, a reminder might well be in order.

It might also give a bit of pause to some of those who believe they can commit vicious crimes with impunity and without consequence.

The others would not be able to say they weren't given fair warning.

When one consider that these feral yute gang attacks are greatly increasing in frequency, sooner or later we are going to see a CHL pile up the bodies.

The risk may be Zimmerman 2.0. Somehow, heinous acts are no longer heinous when someone under 16 does them in some areas. As stated, Wilmington and Philly share a mindset and I fear that rioting in the street would break out with a juvenile body count, no matter the cause.
