Michigan trooper shot, killed during traffic stop

Too bad these thugs were taken alive...but glad they were caught quickly.

LUDINGTON, Mich., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- A Michigan state trooper has died after being shot during a traffic stop in the western reaches of the state, official say.Trooper Paul Butterfield was shot about 6 p.m. in Mason County and died in surgery at a hospital in Traverse City, WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids reported Tuesday.

Not all die the same day either. The deputy that died on 09/08/2013 was actually critically injured in 2007.
