New 12/16 Houston renewal class

Post by Art S »

Just sent in my request for the 12/16 Houston class. :woohoo
Glad I didn't have to make a day trip to Georgetown.
Anyone out there received confirmation for this class yet?
I'm looking forward to the class but, I'll be glad when it's over.
Did you learn something new today and did you smile? if not, why?

I'm headed to the renewal class Monday. It is going to be at the DPS office on west Rd.
Question to previous Houston attendees. Was your class at this location and what were the carry rules for class? they had a list of rules but, this was not covered.
I also plan on turning in my CHL-100 at the class. anyone out there that turn in their CHL-100 with an earlier date at the class and received their cert. without issues?
Thanks in advance for your input.

The Houston classes are in the secure area of the DPS Houston area HQ so, no carry. Send your CHL 100 to the RSD email address found under "contact us" on the DPS website. Be sure there was a CHL 8 submitted for your proficiency class. :tiphat:

Well I survived the class. Didn't even fall asleep.
Learned a few things. All in all a good class.
Nice to see the CHL-7 go away. :thumbs2: Glad to see the integrity issues covered. looks like the program is headed in the right direction.
Everything is turned in. Now the wait.
