Commenting on the incident, Baltimore County police spokesman Bill Toohey told the Sun: “It’s a sign that we’re all a little nervous in the post-9/11 world.” It's a good thing he didn't use the Sacagawea dollar, he would have been waterboarded. :banghead:

You would think that someone could have figured this out without having to call the Secret Service.

I wonder if he has a false imprisonment suit on his hands? The least I would do would be to certainly have several at Best Buys jobs and have a public apology by Best Buy and the police department.

They will probably get by with giving him a gift card. ;-)

A large sum of Best Buy and The City of Baltimore's money will help him heal the trauma. :thumbs2:

I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

A rather significant gift card, I presume.

What about wrongful arrest and confinement; not to mention public humiliation and loss of consortium? Sic 'em!

I have an uncut sheet of $2 bills mounted in a frame in my office. Have had several people look at it and exclaim "Those look real!"

Wonder what best buy would do if I took that sheet and a pair of scissors with me, and started snipping out the bills at the register. :smilelol5:

not to mention public humiliation
I think the police chief should be more humiliated than the guy who got arrested. :reddevil

My mom was a banker for about 30 years. I don't know how many $2 bills she has, but her and my dad still pay for things with them every now and then. It upsets some people because they don't have a space for them in their drawer except underneath with the $50's and $100's. Some people don't believe they're real like these folks. They have never been arrested though. I think my dad likes asking the bank for them just to see the look on peoples' faces when he uses them.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

When I was a kid I had an uncle who would give us $2 bills every year for Christmas.

I don't have any $2 bills but I've seen a few along with Susan B. Anthony $1 coins.

I do know where there is a $3 bill. :smilelol5:
