More negative? OC press.

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

If you watch the video it appears the news organization did a good job of presenting both sides of the issue and pretty accurately stated Texas law.

The caller, Sharon Fletcher of Odessa, would be better learn that in Texas there are more guns than people. Being ignorant of how safe the firearms are compared to cars and other dangerous tools is not an excuse, and the protestors were never breaking any law. So, her call should be a miss use of 911 time. She should be warned not to repeat her call again for the same reason.

This is why I would like to see firearms safety education being introduced in mid-school everywhere in Texas. The less ignorance the better.

Sharon Fletcher obviously was a liberal scaredy cat. At least her call to the police was "shot" down. Pun intended.

Pro-gun demonstrators 1, Sharon 0. :woohoo

What's more remarkable is that there weren't more people with their unmentionables in a twist than just this Sharon Fletcher. Just goes to show that most people.......at least in Odessa......just aren't that upset by the guns at the protest.

Good on the PD, good on the protesters, bad on the "concerned citizen". Seems like everything went ok to me!

LOL, no. He is actually a pretty good guy.

I should add, he is not anti-gun but not a big gun guy either.

I would add: "Go suffocate yourself in your fear." Never ever bother us again.
