Saw it last night as I was leaving! Whoops!
I doubt that they posted the correct signage, though I hope they're not trying to keep CHL holders out of the place.
Doesn't a 51% sign in this establishment seem a little out of place/incorrect?
How do you guys handle signs like that?

You can contact TABC about it.MrDrummy wrote:Saw it last night as I was leaving! Whoops!

According to the law, the 51% sign holds no weight on it's own. If it's not posted correctly (like at a typical restaurant) you can go ahead and carry.
On the other hand, ff it's NOT posted and should be (like at a bar), you can't carry.
The sign serves as a notice, but the actual percentage of sales is what matters.

They should have their liqueur license out in plain view, or at least let you look at it upon request. Near the center there should be a line that says "SIGN=RED" or "SIGN=BLUE". If it says red, then it's a 51% establishment in the eyes of TABC. If it says blue, they shouldn't have the 51% sign up.
