CHL-8 for Instructor Proficiency?

Post by The_Busy_Mom »

I gave an Instructor Shooting proficiency qualification last weekend, and the CHL-100 w/ Instructor renewal checked. Do I need to submit a CHL-8 to DPS?

:iagree: That is so, just like a CHL student, the two records meet up in their system and they know the CHL100 is legit. Not saying anyone would ever forge one, just a good check and balance system.

Trust, but verify.

When we go to the range to qualify; after filling out a CHL 100 for the other instructor do we summit a class report i.e. CHL 8 to cover the instructor who shot?
Thanks,

Mike
