Three hoodie men rob the McDonalds at 290 and Tidwell in Houston. Apparently the McDonald's employees headed for the back exit as these guys started their robbery. They opened fire at the retreating employees seriously wounding one. Witnesses reported seven shots being fired. Happened around midnight. This is about two blocks Northwest of the Harris County Appraisal District Offices and right near the Comcast offices.

One of the comments left by a visitor to the Channel 2 website "Just givem your money and don't run cause that is just antagonizes your robber and is asken to be shot"

Note to self, no late night visits to restaurants located near freeways.

Note to self, always carry a second magazine.

Yikes! I have family near that area. I so what forcefully suggested a door armor for their new front door. I keep hearing about home invasions and I'm so relieved she went ahead and did it.

These quick restaurant robberies seem to be more profitable than convenience stores now, as they collect cell phones and wallets from customers.

I need to sew in my 2nd magazine on my holster. Seems like these guys are packing way better than I am.
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

Dang. That's my "go to" Mickey D's when I come back from overseas flights by way of Houston and drive back to Austin. Always stop there to relive the cravings from two weeks of curry and no beef.

Prayers to the victims and wounded.

Interesting with these three similar events in as many days, so far there has been zero comments from the news media, or any elected/appointed officials in charge.

Apparently it is not a priority, unlike things like this.

But I guess when you compare it to the city just above us in population, its pretty small potatoes.

Oh and then you have this, a man robbed by police impersonators.
