Display discrepancies

When I am on the main board index page it shows the latest post in the guns section is today, 7/29. When I go to that section the posts are not in order from newest to oldest. How do I get it to show in date/time order descending from newest to oldest?

Go to User Profile, Board preferences, Edit Display Options.

I tried that and I managed to reverse the order once in a thread which wasn't good but I couldn't get the index to sort that way.

If you're talking about the "General Gun, Shooting & Equipment Discussion" there are a bunch of sticky topics. Once you get past those first dozen, the rest should be in order.

That's the problem. I didn't realize there were as many stickies as there are. My duh. Thanks.
