Man Accused of Beating Woman With Prosthetic Leg

Post by ELB »

His prosthetic leg. But not to worry, he had another. Yes, he had two prosthetic legs.

I really can't summarize this one, you just have to go read it. Make sure you read it all they way through, there are nuggets of amazement in every paragraph right to the end.

Also work following the link for the mug shot. It is....more Lehmbergesque than Perryesque, shall we say. ;-)

Nice plot twist.

SPOILER ALERT!

Until 3/4 of the way through the story, I thought the woman in the house was the homeowner's ex.

It sounds like the suspect doesn't have a leg to stand on. :leaving

That was entertaining, but painful to read / follow. That has to be one of the most poorly written pieces I have seen in a long time.

I hope they turn it into a movie, because I really couldn't follow what was going on.

Maybe some LEOs can chime in, but it reads to me like the reporter transcribed it exactly the way police learned about it. ;-) On medical first responder calls, especially where something violent/traumatic has occurred, the witness accounts tend to be disjointed, out of order, and often leave out important facts until later. Like Mr. Prosthetic hitting himself in the head with a bottle before he even got to the house.

I don't think missing a couple legs was his biggest handicap....
