Game Warden
I just received a call from a friend of mine who is a Commander for the State. They have had an accident. It appears at this time one Game Warden has been killed and one is injured. Remember the families in prayer. One Warden has been carried to the hospital in Ft. Worth.

Me too.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

It is my understanding they were dragging a lake in between Glenrose and Ft. Worth. The boat capsized and one drowned and one was injured. The one who was pronounced dead was taken by air to Ft. Worth. I understand the one who was injured was at a hospital in Glenrose and is expected to survive. That is all of the information I have. They have not released anything to the media as of yet. I will give an update if I hear anything.

They have released the name so I guess I can too. Game Warden Ty Patterson was fine young Warden. His parents are good Christian people. I know they would appreciate your prayers. They live in Seguin, TX. He had not been out of the Academy long.

Prayers lifted up here, as well.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me
