Apparently Wendy Davis regrets saying she supported second amendment rights, because what she said "wasn't really in keeping" with her actual views. I know we're all shocked that a politician would say something that doesn't line up with her beliefs and values merely in hopes of garnering votes.
I saw that on Twitter earlier this morning. The first thing I thought was that with everything that went wrong in her campaign, THAT's what she regrets?

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this on the news last night. She's proven herself to be a pathological liar many times over, but this is the first time she admitted to a lie. Could she be on the road to recovery?

Chas.
She could say that she is...

Wendy Davis has said she regrets expressing support for the open carry of handguns in her failed gubernatorial bid.
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Davis says the position "wasn't really in keeping" with her actual view and "strayed" from her core beliefs.
You mean she lied??? I'm shocked I tell you... SHOCKED!!!

Being shocked that Davis, or indeed, any politician, lies to get votes, is much akin to walking into a casino and telling the faro dealer you're shocked, shocked you say!, that there is gambling in the establishment.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you, to find sarcasm in this thread!
What she meant was that she didnt support the 2nd before she said she did support it; and in reality, she wishes to de-support ...er... un-support it once again, but do so retroactively....of course, she reserves the right, based on her prerogatives to maintain flexibility on this issue as it develops.....

Kind of like the president and his position on gay marriage?

Doesn't phase the Socialists at all that this lying tramp has no values. They will continue supporting her because she looks like them, acts like them and has minimum human value, just like them. I was tempted at posting a Wendy Davis Abortion Barbie pic but didn't want to ruin dinner for anyone including myself.
