IDPA Thunder Tactical

Post by Venus Pax »

Thunder Tactical hosted IDPA June 9.
The heat was getting to almost unbearable levels, but the scenarios were good.
One that I had never shot was the target moving laterally after pulling the string. I don't think I've ever encountered one that tough--it was puzzling. :headscratch The target would be half way to it's destination before I could even draw!
During one scenario, I completely missed the moving target! :cryin

All in all, it was good. Maybe we'll get a breeze in July.

Venus, You did great on Saturday. I really enjoy that lateral mover. It puts a lot of pressure on the shooter, and when you put a non-threat about half way across the bay, it really turns up the heat. Glad you made it and glad you had a good time.

That lateral mover was a bit slow.....you could just put a pair of jet engines on it next time

Great match...great friends. It was great to see all of you guys.

Jason: Unfortunately, next month I will be in Chicago when Thunder holds its next monthly match. Are you going to PSC this month for the forum get together? David G.

Absolutely......the PSC match is on the 4th weekend of every month for anyone that cares to come out and join us! It is great fun and the entire range is air conditioned (ok...that is a lie, but it is great fun)
