Bulk purchase of Precision Bullets?

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

There have been a good number of posts about the rising cost of factory ammo and reloading components. I'm thinking of trying Precision Bullets that have the coating that earned them the "Black Bullet" nickname.

With a purchase of 25,000 or more, we can get 10% off the published prices on their website. If there is enough interest, then Marc and I could drive to Kemp, Texas to pick them up and save the shipping cost as well. (The published prices include shipping.) All participants would split the cost for gas.

Here is their website http://www.precisionbullets.com

I have been wanting to upgrade my bullets.
I will be in on that.
I could use some 9mm, .38, & .45ACP
If it took a little while to get this together so I could have some time to get some $$$s together I would get a bunch.

I will assume you are talking about 45acp 200gr SWC. I bought 500 last year and was pleased with them. If I read their site correctly then the best deal would be to buy 12 cases of 2250 for $155 per case less the 10%, plus gas.
If I am close to being correct on this then I will go in for one case.

We should be able to mix calibers as well as bullet weight.

Did not realize they will let you mix, I'm still in for a case of 2250 45acp 200gr SWC.

Charles,
Are we allowed to mix & match sizes with the 25k deal?

I haven't started reloading yet, but if you can mix calibers I would be interested. Since I live North of DFW it appears that Kemp is a little over one hour from my home. I wouldn't mind making the trip and meeting someone for a transfer. This might make it easier for those in DFW and and East Texas to participate. Let me know.

Charles,

If we can "mix & match" and the prices ($155 per case of 2250 - plus gas money) are correct, I'm in for 3 cases of 200 g swc. Thanks!

Regards,
Andrew

PS if you need cash up front that's fine - will send/bring to you. I see the 10% discount - but tax is 6.some% so it is almost a wash.

Steve:

Aren't these the black bullets you were having "excesive smoke" issues with?
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

Jeremae, They smoke, but not excessively. The are about the same as lead-based bullets. I am used to using bullets with a jacketed base that give no smoke at all.

Yes we are. At this rate, we'll easily exceed 25,000 rds.

This could work very well. We can put the order together and plan to meet at the factory in Kemp, then load the Dallas area order on your truck or trailer and we'll take the portion heading to Houston.
