Hi guys. New user giving my timeline for CHL in Austin.

7-19-15 Completed course.
7-19-15 Completed application online with DPS.
7-27-15 Fingerprints-Electronic scan.
7-27-15 Scanned barcode from DPS application and submitted CHL-100 to DPS.
7-29-15 DPS emailed receipt of scanned paperwork above.
8-03-15 Morpho background check complete from fingerprints and their site updated.
8-18-15 DPS site shows status change with active links for change of address etc.
8-19-15 License received in the mail.

As you can see, exactly one month from start to finish.

Random thoughts about the process:
Morpho aka IdentoGo was booked out for the entire week for electronic fingerprinting. That added a week to the timeline waiting for an appointment. Also, the class I took was very full, as were most of the other classes being offered by a well known and established South Austin CHL class provider. I was pleasantly surprised to see very large classes of diverse people getting their CHL.
