An employee at a Far South Side cellphone retailer shot two would-be robbers late Wednesday morning, at least the second time in a week a worker has shot two robbery suspects at a Chicago business, according to police and store officials.

In Chicago !?! Wonder if the crooks are starting to realize that their victims are less likely to be defenseless there now?

I detect a drop in Chicago crime coming.

If T-Mobile's coverage was not nonexistent in my area I would consider switching. We need more such outcomes and thugs will start to reconsider their trade.

It wasn't actually a T-mobile store - it was a third party reseller with a good guy behind the counter.

T-Mobile is a pretty liberal company that likes to donate money to places like The Center for American Progress.

My comment was based on this statement.
AJ Joudeh, who identified himself as a regional manager for T-Mobile, said the company allows employees with concealed carry licenses to have weapons at work.

And my comment was based on the comment from a T-Mobile corporate employee identifying them as a third party two paragraphs later.

That explains it, the crooks ignore it as it's the incorrect sign, they needed

It's hard to know how to feel about that sign... On the one hand, they allow employees to CC. On the other hand, they don't allow law abiding customers to CC, thinking, wrongly, that it will prevent someone with bad intentions from CC-ing. I'll choose to remember that the citizens and shop owners of Chicago are new to 2A and hope those signs come down as folks stretch their legs and come to better understand their new freedoms.

So according to the sign, you cannot open carry with a bag of stolen merchandise and a cap on. But without the bag and cap should be OK? :thumbs2: :rolll
