There is mention of an argument over a $25 "fee". Not sure if this was a repair fee or some type of FFL fee. Regardless, it appears that everyone involved needed more training on de-escalation.

More details here. A father and son 44 and 17 were killed when customers at their family gun store opened fire.

Jason McLemore’s wife reportedly witnessed the encounter, and called her husband and son in an effort to keep the incident from escalating.
