Any additional LTC processors?

Post by Jusme »

With all of the posts regarding a longer and longer wait time for processing LTCs, I was wondering if anyone knows if the State has added any additional processors to offset the large jump in the number of applications? I can't find any reference to it nor any indication of what the number of people actively involved in the process might be.

I know with budgetary restraints, permanently adding additional people, especially if the number of applicants could possibly drop may not be a viable solution, but what about temporarily reassigning some people to at least help speed up the process. :confused5

Just wondering if anyone might be more informed about this than myself. :tiphat:

No. & that's why you're seeing a snow ball effect. It also doesn't help when people send their docs in 4-5 times & call for status every other day. The budget is very strict & it's not as simple as just hiring new people.

Yeah that was what I was thinking, I, know how difficult it can be to have processes constantly updated, even without having to have someone access the system to check on it. Hopefully everyone will realize that the current delays are due mostly to the large numbers of applicants that have flooded in since November. I know waiting is frustrating, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :cheers2:
