Son Charged With Murder For Killing His Mom’s Attacker

Post by Pawpaw »

Mom's boyfriend starts beating on her. The 15 year old gets a firearm (type not mentioned) and puts a few rounds into the boyfriend, this saving Mom from a severe beating. Boy is arrested for 2nd degree murder, as if he hasn't been through enough already. :mad5

Upon reading the article it seems that the charge is "standard" until they decide if they wish to pursue more accurate charges...such as manslaughter...or drop charges...whatever. I doubt if this is the first, hours-long argument the couple had...and likely there was physical participation by both. Both...willing combatants...neither backing down. Son got tired of the boy friend...bang.
