I'm not that far away and am at a hospital. Made me feel better about having my sub 2000 in my bag since it's posted 30.06/.07.
Scary world...

Less than 2 miles from my office
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

News helicopter video showed a facility with large secure fences and gates. Wonder if they had a no gun policy?

RIP to the innocent employee who was killed.

Although I have no knowledge of this company's policy for branch-based employees, most interstate trucking companies do not allow drivers to carry under the premise that crossing into Canada would create problems.
For Texas based drivers, crossing into Mexico is a more realistic (and more serious) problem. That country really doesn't allow guns. Must be why there is so little violence down that way.

Yeah, but the point seems not to persuade those on the other side of the cultural divide.
