STATUS CHANGED THEN CHANGED BACK

Post by 53vette »

I sent my application in March 2015 but didn't take my class until this year. Sent all docs in and status changed on May 19th, just over a month. We moved since my application in March of 2015 so as SOON as I noticed the status change I went in and did an address change and paid the fee. Immediately after completing this I tried to log back into the website to make sure my address change was in place and a red outlined box had appeared that said there is an application pending so so check back in 48 hours. I was unable to log in at that time. I waited 48 hours and now the website looks like it did BEFORE the status change. Its like I am back at the beginning again. Is this normal for an address change or did I screw up by trying to update my address before my plastic arrived in the mail. Any suggestions on what to do next?

It didn't change back... it changed again, but this time for the address change you did.

thanks I have been reading this forum for some time and remembered post where people changed address during the approval process so figured I'd wait until website status change so I could do it on line. Any idea how long this slows down the actual printing of the card.

Most likely, not at all. You should receive your license, with the original address, within the next week. Your license with the address change should come sometime later.

This is assuming you had to pay for the address change. If you didn't, then I have no idea.

Thank you Pawpaw. Yes I had to pay the change fee. I appreciate the feedback. Yours was useful.
