accidental wrong application

Post by grent247 »

Ok so here's what I did: Applied 11/15 as indigenous, only to realize I applied wrong. Decided to wait until I renewed my license(CDL) to correct it. Prints 11/15, class 1/16, and mailed in packet with the difference needed to correct application as state resident with a note requesting the change. That was mailed in after I renewed my license in early May. I have not received any emails, or letters confirming my packet arriving. Should I be worried, or have others clicked the wrong thing as well?

You're too early to know anything yet.

So you applied as a native Texan?? ;-) I think this was a typo and you meant indigent.

I would contact DPS advising you filled out the form incorrectly and ask them what you need to do. You can contact them via this link https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/contact/chl.aspx

If your worries give them a call. They can tell you for certain.

Haha yeah auto correct got me. I called them and they had told me to send a note in writing asking they change it over to the correct application. I did so but was wondering if anyone else made this mistake also.
