Graduating college, need to start career
Another job related request. I just found this sub-forum and thought I'd post this.
I interviewed with Pedernales Electric Co-op last week. They were supposed to make their decision by today, but for whatever reason, the upper management guys weren't around to finalize the deal before they offer the job to someone. Now I'm supposed to hear something by the end of the week. If it is God's will, I'd really like to get this job.
I'm graduating college in a few weeks with a degree in electrical engineering. There's not all that much available out in the hill country in that field. My wife and I are moving out to Blanco on faith. Not that we feel told by God this is where we should be for a specific reason, but that if we move, God will provide. She's already got a full time job lined up, so that is a blessing. I'm just looking to start my career, preferably without a commute to Austin or SA.
Thanks for the help. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

We will be praying for you. You are very wise to say the "Will of God." As you probably already know God says, Rom 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
1. Good Will of God
2. Acceptable Will of God
3. Perfect Will of God
Neither are bad, but being in the Perfect Will of God is terrific.

I will too.
I am thankful every time I meet young folks willing to raise a family away from the big cities.
Folks that are there always tell me they wish they could live in the small places but they will not be willing to live on the wages & do the hard work we do.
You are already blessed.
May our Lord add to them.

I hear this kind of thing all the time. It's easier to marry into the British royal family than to get hired by a big company.Flatland2D wrote:I interviewed with Pedernales Electric Co-op last week. I will pray for you and your family.

I didn't see your prayer request in time; therefore, I didn't pray for you.
I do want to say that I'm glad you got the job, and am thankful to God.
It's also encouraging to know you & your wife are looking for His will in everything.
