Charlton Heston's "A Torch With No Flame"
I've posted this before, but it is as timely now as when Charlton Heston first uttered these words. Unfortunately, while support for gun rights is increasing, the battle will never end. I also found it most unsettling that the moral foundation he discusses is rapidly fading in many areas of the country.

Wow! Incredible. I had never seen that before. Truer words have never been spoken. Thanks for posting that, Charles.

Very moving.
Self defense is a side effect of carrying a firearm. What counts is bearing a share of American freedom with peaceful intention, firm resolve to keep liberty secure, and respect for those who defend this remarkable land.

You just have to listen when Moses himself sits down to patiently explain something to you.

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

Funny, I just watch him in Planet of The Apes movies last night. We can see what he's talking about happening right now. Actually been a problem for many years. I'm betting most on this forum have educated their children.

It is sad to believe that most of them didn't even know what the constitution was.

I'm doing what I can to explain these things to my daughter. I mentioned to her a year or two ago that BO and others were trying to get legislation at the federal or state levels or executive orders to outlaw many types of guns that would include her M&P15-22. She said, "No. He can't have it"
