90 days exactly

It took 90 days exactly for me to get my card from the day I took my class and turned in paperwork.

I wonder why it took them so long I got mine back in about 28 days a couple of months back.

I'd like to have some explanation for this disparity as well. Jerry, had you lived out-of-state for any period in the previous five years? What about you, Doug?

I can only surmise that these residency issues are what DPS chooses to drag their feet with. Of course, this nagging problem of fingerprint rejection seems to occur with some folks also.

Oh, I see, you have my sincere condolences! Welcome to the free state of Texas.

I was concerned about this residency issue because I lived in Michigan for one of the previous five years (Aug 02-Aug 03). I feared that this would slow my app down...however, so far so good, everything appears to be proceeding briskly.
