Missouri baseball team criticized for AR-15 raffle

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Missouri baseball team criticized for AR-15 raffle

Post by Lynyrd »

I'm not advocating that you buy a raffle ticket.

But, that being said, I have bought lots of raffle tickets for guns to support fundraisers for worthy causes. And many of them were youth related. The timing on this one is unfortunate. But other than that I don't see a problem.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

I'm game. How do we buy a ticket?

Guns are not evil, people are evil.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

I just used white pages.com to look up Levi Paterson, who is the coach and mentioned in the article, in Neosho Missouri. Unfortunately it looks like he only has a cell phone and not a landline. White pages.com not give you a cell phone number, only a landline.

Just tried to call Black Rain Ordnance, the company who donated the rifle, at 888-836-2620. Unfortunately, it is after hours and no one answered. Planning on trying again later, but feel free to try that number yourselves. I’m sure they will be helpful on this.

I’m going to continue looking for a way to contact Levi Patterson and/or this baseball team to buy tickets. I will post if I find an answer.

Here is a link to the original story in the Kansas’s City Star:

Hopefully this goes through; Here is a link to Levi Patterson’s Facebook page. He can probably be contacted via Facebook. I do not have Facebook, so I can’t try this.

Edited to add my call to Black Rain Ordnance, link to KC Star article, and Levi Patterson’s Facebook page.

I emailed and the reply is they are so inundated they can't keep up to mail tickets to everyone requesting so no more tickets other than local FTF ticket sales.
