Today I am thankful for....

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Today I am thankful for....

Post by BrassMonkey »

It's not November yet, but I think sometimes we need to stop and think about the things we are truly thankful for. Call it a reaffirmation of your personal happiness, which after a lot of years, I think I am finally getting to.

So, I thought it would be interesting if once a day, someone, or anyone, or several someones would post a thing or two there are grateful/thankful for on that day. I think it would also help us understand each other a bit better.

I guess I'll start...

I am thankful for:

My son, which caused me to finally grow up
My house, which is mine (well, mine and the banks')
BrassMonkey, that funky monkey....

Wow.....what a beautiful thread. I am thankful that you thought of it.

I am married to the most beautiful girl in the world that is about to give me the most beautiful daughter in the world. The three of us will be surrounded with the love of God and wonderful friends.

I am thankful for life.....all of it. I love life.

One yr ago eight days from now I had cancer surgery. I still am overwhenmed by the care, prayers, cards, tele calls & several visits from forum members.
Everyone on the board gave me this knife as a get well present.

I probably can't list all that I'm thankful for.

Since my wreck, I"m thankful to be here and to be well.
I'm thankful for my family and friends.
I'm thankful for my home.
I'm thankful for my job & dh's job.
I'm thankful for my church.
I'm also thankful for my pets.
I'm thankful that I will be able to get another car next week.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
