He made several homemade guns, for more than likely less than $50 (I could probably put several together with scraps I have laying around) and got $300 for them!! Next time there is a Texas buy back I’m definitely doing this.

They weren't real. They were made of PVC pipe in the shape of a rifle.tomneal wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:10 pm so...
he sold his home made firearms at a gun buy back?
I knew that it was legal to make your own firearm but I thought it was illegal to sell them or even to give them away.
It sound like a funny story but I wouldn't take that risk for $300.
They were very real and were not made of PVC. They are definitely steel, as there are videos of him building as well as firing these.jmorris wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 6:14 pmThey weren't real. They were made of PVC pipe in the shape of a rifle.tomneal wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:10 pm so...

Illegal to manufacture and sell for profit. Not illegal to sell to further your own collection, already looked into it.tomneal wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:10 pm so...

I stand corrected. They just didn't look like anything other than PVC and I guess I wasn't listening close enough.jb2012 wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 7:32 pmThey were very real and were not made of PVC.
