She returned home on her own. I’m glad I had sons.

It was a little bit irritating yesterday when one of my weather apps notified me of this young lady missing 'in my area', some 300 miles away.

I didn't get the notice until today, after the girl had returned home.

I’ve gotten amber alert from as far as 800 miles from here. I don’t mind as they may be headed for the boarder. With the amount of makeup this 13 was wearing, I doubt she was ever “missing”.

Way too much makeup for a 13 year old.... She'll probably end up in the news again in 9 months..

I have Amber alerts disabled on my phone because the last one I got was from San Antonio. I'm in the far northeast corner of the state.
Also, when there was actually an Amber alert issues IN MARSHALL where I live, I never got the alert.
This alert came via the Weatherbug app.

Parents let their young daughters go out looking like that shouldn't be surprised when she misses curfew. Or her period.
