how long do you have to get your license?

First off, if this is in the wrong forum would the mods mind correcting me.

I took my test and everything late Feb. and I was wandering how long I have to turn it into DPS with my packet?

I have heard everything from 6 months to 6yrs if someone could enlighten me it would be much appreciated.

Two years from the date on the TR-100 form.

Two years if it is your initial license. Six months for a renewal.
