CHL’s are very difficult to obtain in California. Apparently you are required to attend a police department sponsored training class. A non Officer instructor shot his student in the leg during an unloaded gun, trigger test.

Course includes gun safety.

Two rule violations to me. More?

Trigger test??? Hahaha... reminds me of the old joke about checking a gun using the light test. Look down the barrel, pull the trigger. If you see a light, the gun was loaded.

Well, hat's off to the man who was trying to get a CHL in Komifornia. Terrible tragedy that his instructor shot him.
