Man walks into gas station, grabs liquor bottle off shelf and assaults two clerks, hitting one on the head. Clerk with headache also has license to carry and handgun to go with it, shoots assailant. Ventilated assailant taken to hospital with GSW to abdomen, neck, left chest, right armpit and head. Police had responded to another business earlier in the evening for man - same man - acting suspiciously. He was asked to leave and complied.

I would speculate one of the shoulder things that go up and shoots 500 armor-piercing rounds per second without pulling a trigger and that can be bought anywhere online without a background check for $19.95.
