Can't fine video of Troy Nehls

I can't find the thread with the video of Nehls speaking in church. Does anyone remember the thread? A search for Nehls didn't work.

I don't know about the thread, but is this video what you are looking for? It's him speaking to the Fulshear Chamber of Commerce on 13 January 2013, apparently in a church building. At about 10:51 he seems to tell them that if they are carrying a "hogleg" in church they shouldn't be doing that, and then goes on to complain about legal licensed carry in county government buildings. He says "shame" on the Legislature for allowing this. Also says number of guns you can carry should be limited.

I'm shocked that no one got up and walked out... the first line got some uncomfortable laughter. He was downright proud to tell the lower class that he disapproved of them. I would have politely told him he's out of line and walked out.

I'm guessing this has to do with yesterday's primary for Congressional District 22 just south of Houston.

The current office holder is retiring and 15 Republicans and four Democrats ran in their respective primaries. Dem Sri Kulkarni won his primary outright with 53% of the vote, but no one in the Republican primary got more than 50%, so there will be a run off election on March 26.

Nehls got 40.5% of the vote, and Kathaleen Wall got just over 19%, with the rest split among the remaining 13 candidates. I don't know anything about Wall but it's probably time to find out.

I'd never seen the term "hog leg" in respect to guns before....had to look that one up.
