Defense contractors mean more to Senators than American lives. I am so sick and tired of our government and the paid politicians I could just scream.

The vote was to table the amendment to withdraw the troops, not for/against the amendment. Which in non-DC language means “against” it.parabelum wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 9:50 am Wait, I’m bit foggy on this maybe but I thought this was to withdraw all United States Armed Forces from Afghanistan and they got more yay’s, so withdraw?
