Sig Pro 2022

Post by Skydivesnake »

How about a Sig Pro 2022 ? Polymer sized handgun very similar to the 229. You can get them in 40cal if you look hard enough, although most on the market are 9mm. They get great reviews by those that have them.

...having said that, I would agree that whatever fits best is probably going to shoot the best - they are all quality handguns.

From what I understand the Sig Pro is being phased out and is intended to be replaced with the P250. But I've also heard good things about them. I mean come on its a Sig. Not that it matters in any way but the Sig Pro is the gun in the safety deposit box in the first Bourne flick. I saw the movie probably 10 times before it clicked.

I think you can do layaways at Carter's Country.

Should I go ahead and buy a Glock or Smith & Wesson M&P or save my money and buy the Sig. Or buy the Glock or S&W now and save the money latter and buy a Sig? :txflag:
Hey gguess66, what did you end up with? I found this thread while searching the forum on the P229. I'm looking to buy my last carry weapon, and don't mind spending the money for the Sig if it is worth it. I'm considering one other option which would be a 1911 with a 4" barrel.

No the health is good. I'm going to invest in a good quality weapon which I plan on carrying from here on, learning the controls on it so things are just automatic. I have plenty of weapons, and will purchase many more I'm sure, but this one will be my lone carry weapon. May not make sense to some, my intent is to make it an extension of my hand, so I don't have to think.
