Still no update on mine :-( I mailed it one month today. I apparently got someone that is slow or the fact that I am from NJ is hurting me. Just in case I emailed my documents this weekend.
Looks like for some people it updates differently, yours just might go straight to manufacturing or mailed soon. :thumbs2:

It feels good that I am not alone and most likely they haven't lost our stuff just it's taking longer. That was my biggest concern.

Oct 17-Status: "Mailed"

Background check was under review for about two days, much shorter than what I thought it would be. Hopefully I'll have this baby in hand by Saturday so I can do a Target walk (Wal-Mart around here is too sketchy for my taste) on Sunday.

You are progressing...

Two more updates than I have & I mailed mine on 9/16. I believe it depends on who processes it if they update it and based on the amount of renewals I am sure that is starting to impact processing of New CHL.

Well, getting a CHL has been on my "bucket list" for years, and now I'm finally going for it.

Applied on line on 25 Sep
Finished the CHL class on 28 Sep
Got finger printed on 8 Oct
Mailed checklist and docs on 9 Oct

Now, I'm just waiting for the first status update. I may have messed up by not sending the checklist and docs by certified mail, return receipt requested. I sent it first class mail,
so now I have no idea if they even got it. Did most of you sent it certified mail?

You can still upload yours online instead of mailing them out. Just go to the contact us section.
