Went in a Bass Pro Shop once and inside the door was a sign to leave all firearms with the attendant at the entrance or something to that effect. The “attendant” was obviously under 21. :grumble I went back out and left my gun in the car. Didn’t want the hassle.

Both my Taurus 845 and 745 have had no issues. I myself almost went with the 709 but I wanted to carry a 45. The 745 is my daily carry now....

Well, IANAL but I don't think they can, refer to CPRC 83.0001. THe civil imunity clause.. If they force was justifiable, under chapter 9 of the penal code, he is immune from civil liabilty ...
