I find that a 4-5 ft walking stick is easier and more comfortable when walking for exercise. It keeps the hand and arm more elevated. Around the house a cane is more usable. If I go somewhere in a vehicle I generally take a cane along. It stows much easier than that a long walking stick. I keep a ...

I'll agree - while I don't like to be treated unfairly, maintaining safety is a higher priority.

The only constitutional part is probably the restriction against ownership by convicted felons, and states can legislate that on their own.

Not all police officers are shooters and there are many who do not know anything outside of their issued handgun. I personally know a young man that graduated the Academy 16 years ago and he has yet learned another platform other than his Glock.
