Not all police officers are shooters and there are many who do not know anything outside of their issued handgun. I personally know a young man that graduated the Academy 16 years ago and he has yet learned another platform other than his Glock.

There is no reason to limit it to the state fair. As mentioned earlier, there are many activities that will ban carry for a one or two-day event.
