You know, I'd support the AWB if it included law enforcment officers too. I mean, none of the BG's will ahve assault rifles after the ban so if the police were to use rifles it would be an excesive use of force when a pistol would do!

Disturbing, I know. Maybe he thinks that his superpowers can save us all. After reading his last book, about the Middle East, I can tell you that there is no telling what might be going on in that man's peanut brain. His handlers really need to keep him from embarrassing himself any more than he already has. That is if he has much of a staff left. I seem to remember that several of his staff quit after his last anti-Semitic rant.

It is still amazing to me that Mr Carter was a part of the nuclear Navy. Does anybody know what his "job title" actually was during that period?

All that training and he still couldn't figure out how to pronounce it.

During his presidential campaign they often touted that Jimmy was a "nuclear engineer." He was not. Some sources state that his title in the Navy was "surface warfare officer."

Carter never claimed to be a "nuclear engineer" he claimed he was a "nucular engineer."

He was a line officer, which means he rotated through several jobs.

And he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002. Only two other presidents received that award,
Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.

Yes, you are correct on Carter receiving the Nobel Peace prize.

I recall that the great environmentalist, former Vice President Al Gore won it in 2007,

The committe who awarded it to him has said they only did it as a barb at President Bush.

If he had any class at all, he would have declined to accept an award only given to irk a current President.

I was born in 86, but I still haven't figured out for the life of me why anyone could give any consideration to anything that comes out of that man's mouth, then or now.
