Who is this woman and how did she get elected in Texas - of all places? The problem is not Jessica Farrar, the problem is her constituency and her supporters/followers in the legislature. Jessica Farrar,the bill's primary author, is also the woman who filed HB1395 that would make legal hunting a defense to prosecution, meaning every hunter could be arrested and prosecuted and they would have to hire an attorney to prove the defense of lawful hunting. So she would have lawful hunters to jail for killing a dove, but only have a murdering mother spend 6 months to two years in jail.
