I for example very seldom ever go to a 51% place and drink. I have in recent years gone to meet people on business, and tended political conventions at a tavern ( Taverns are where American liberty was born) and not had a drop to drink. If a CHL holder can't be trusted to go into a bar without becoming intoxicated, he should either not have the CHL or he should understand that he doesn't belong in such a place. I find the idea that we can't be trusted to go into a bar or anyplace while armed a little insulting.Oldgringo wrote:I remember when Printer's Alley was an alley of 'brown bag' knife and gun clubs. If a bar is defined in my home state as it is in Texas (Chili's ain't no bar), I agree with the Gov.Keith B wrote:I go to Tennesee periodically, so this will be a big help when I go to Chili's!
Gasoline, gunpowder and alcohol don't mix very well, y'all.
What is safest?
A loaded gun in a holster on our person.
A gun locked in a car at a icehouse parking lot?
An unloaded unlocked up gun anywhere.
I believe the gun on my person is the least likely to be taken possession of by a BG. The most dangerous is an unlocked unloaded gun.
