I don't know about y'all, but the last couple of days here in Houston and Tomball have been delightful.
After several weeks of stifling heat and humidity, this front that came through has made it enjoyable to be outdoors.
It was 66 when I left home this morning... almost chilly!
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams
I was finally able to ride my motorcycle to work this morning. With temps in the low 70's it made for a pleasant ride. The 95-ish that it will be this afternoon on the ride home will not be so pleasant.
I'm just outside of Houston, and for the last couple of days, I have been thinking that the weather would be perfect for an early round of golf. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I have been working 12+ hours a day, starting at around 6:00am every day.
I've been watchin the weather in Ft Davis and Alpine since we are fixin to go there and it was 68 at about 3 o clock Thursday. It will probably heat back up by Sunday when we get there.
