The N.H. Permit resident is easy to get
pay about $20.00 for a background check
Turn in application and fee to town hall or local police dept
Prmit usually issued in a week from applying
no finger prints
no training required
Can get permit even if you have never fired a gun before
no pictures
License good for four years
Most New hampshire LEO don't like people that carry
LEO will harass you for carry with permit
Texas won't recognise N.H. permit because of no traning requirement and no picture
N.H. Permit is good in about 16 states
Permit is good fro Revolver and SA
New Hampshire has a policy of not recognising permits from states that won't recognise the N.H. permit
New Hampshire will recognise permits from states that recognise the N.H. permit
N.H. will not recognise non residents permits from anywhere
You can get a N.H. non resident permit it costs $100.00
However you must have a permit from your home state in order to get a N.H. Permit
I'm thinking of moving to New Hampshire and, therefore, have been researching their laws. In addition to the above:
Open carry is completely legal with no permit.
Concealed carry requires a permit.
It is completely illegal to carry in your car - whether it is concealed or not - unless you have a NH concealed carry permit.
I haven't heard anything about NH police being hostile to people with a CHL.
