Update:
Have worn a Kholster with both a SR9c and a 1911.
The SR9c with a compact mag has this tail that sticks out and digs into seat cushions.
I've canted, clocked and adjusted ride height with not a lot of luck.
Funny ... the 1911 I have no problem with. It's that tail for your pinkie to rest on.
A buddy told me he had a similar issue and used a "strong-arm" holster.
It's basically a holster for a lefty (I'm right handed) worn in the near 6 o'clock position and drawn like being put in a hammer lock.
It would be a tad awkward drawing, but it will sit flatter against my back and not kill my leather seats.
Anyone else carry like this?

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
