Otter Box Warranty Service

Post by troglodyte »

The belt clip on my Otter Box broke less than 20 minutes ago. In the time it is taking to write this I looked up their number, called, had a delightful young lady answer the phone (and I could understand her), exchanged information, and had a replacement processing and confirmation email in my inbox.
Folks, that is customer service right there. EXCELLENT!!! :hurry: :hurry: :hurry:

OTOH, Barnes and Noble has lost a couple of my wife's gift card credits for her Nook. It has taken 3 days of phone calls and still no satisfaction...even though they acknowledge it is their problem. :mad5

Otter Box has a life-long customer. :thumbs2:

I second that, the clip for my Atrix Otterbox broke last week. I e-mailed them and have had three people contact me already, two of them stating a replacement is on the way. They did not question anything and did not ask for proof of purchase (I'm glad about that since I have no idea where my receipt is). They are a great company and I guarantee I will only buy Otterbox cases for my phones from now on. It is rare to see companies with great customer service.

I've had mine for a couple of months now and it's great. When I bought it at the AT&T store they told me if it breaks to just bring it to them and they would replace it!

Kind of makes you wonder why other companies can't figure it out. Pretty simple concept.
"All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing"

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
