I honestly don't know how people get by on two day weekends. I work 4 on 4 off and when I work OT and only get a two days off it FLIES by.

Wow... that takes me back. To a blue Ford Pinto with a manual trasmission and no a/c. But it had an 8 track tape player!
So broke I never had more than a dollar for gas at a time. The Carpenters and Jim Croce got me through a whole lot of those days. And both of them came to a tragic end.

That's so true! :thumbs2: :cheers2: Most of my calendar Saturdays are the day I have to get up at a certain time. (IDPA and CHL classes.) :txflag:

We weren't far off. My first year teacher's pay was $533 gross per month. I remember paying $.35per gallon in that time

What ever happened to popular music that really has a tune and lyrics that were easy to understand? Karen Carpenter's throaty style was something else that has never appeared again.
