The legislators should immediately move to register if not completely ban swans!

Sad situation. He was checking on the swans he had put there to help control the fish population.

Could have probably been avoided though if he had been wearing a PFD.

Actually it was to control the geese population, not fish.
It was supposed to be a normal day for 37-year-old Anthony Hensley, who worked for a company that used swans and dogs to keep geese away from properties on a Des Plaines pond, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Why would he be wearing booths and heavy clothing in a kayak? OSHA should be all over this. He should have been wearing a live vest.

Don't mess with swans, they are very territorial and will get after you on land or on water...no kidding.

No kidding! If this bird is aggressive enough to run off geese then I'm not going to upset one in the least little bit.
