Written communication is defined by the code, oral communication is not. Therefore I would presume, "you and your gun ain't welcome here" would suffice.
:iagree: Although, "You and your gun aren't welcome here" is better English. :smilelol5:
I was going for the redneck translation. :smash: :txflag:
"rlol"
:smilelol5: :smilelol5:
I use ain't, but never improperly, it's a contraction of am not

You left out anything ending in "dint." As in..... "Oh no you DINT!"

So you can use it for am not, but not are not?

Dang, the redneck language can be so confusing. :headscratch

There was already an aren't as a contraction for are not
ain't saves typing all them extra letters for am not
"rlol"

Even if it was a substitute/contraction for are not (though it idn't) ... "he are not" is still wrong :smilelol5:
idn't dudn't mean nuthin' but isn't ...so wudn't these be great for texting too, and 140 character Tweet limits?

Somewhere, I have a cassette of an old tape made in the 1950s from when we moved from Lubbock to Houston, and we sounded like the unlearned Beverly Hillbillies; I gotta find that tape.

There was a saying when I was growing up that "ain't" ain't a word because "ain't" ain't in the dictionary. However, it may be in the dictionary now. Haven't checked lately. :read:

I don't know if it's true, but I remember hearing that "ain't" fell into a bucket of paint. :headscratch

Thanks fella's.
From now on I know.
I wonder just how many cops do not know.
Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
Stand brave and upright that the Lord may love thee.
Speak the truth always even if it means your death.
Protect the helpless and do no wrong!
