Yale professor, ACLU member defends the 2A

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Yale professor, ACLU member defends the 2A

Here is the article.

Its nice to see someone study the original intent, as opposed to what they want to read into the Constitution.

Edited. The correct link is up now.

I don't see anything about a Yale Professor on that link. Just a very brief blurb about Biden and his cronies working against 2A.

TAM, you are correct. Sorry, I was doing too many things at once this morning. UT professor, and former Yale professor, as well as Georgetown, Harvard, NYU, Boston University, and a handful of others.

What I found interesting, and I did not title it right, is that here is an ACLU member, law professor, who doesn't own a gun, and yet he is compelled to defend the 2nd Amendment - stating that we need to interpret by its original intent.

That was a fascinating read.
I especially liked the oft-mentioned statement of a populace not needing advanced armaments that would be worthless in the face of a governments nuclear arsenal, while comparing it to the example of Northern Ireland vs. the Nuclear-armed might of Great Britain.
